Jessica is currently based in New York, NY.
She grew up in a small town in Upstate New York where she attended Fox Lane High School. She was President of the Fox Lane Players and Chamber Choir. After graduation, she headed west to attend Chapman University in Orange, California. She studied broadcast journalism, television, film, and advertising at Dodge’s Film School. While attending school, she worked at the Disneyland Resort and interned at various studios, including Paramount. She also volunteered at CHOC Children’s Hospital, where she helped create shows for Seacrest Studios’ internal radio and TV stations. She spent a semester continuing her studies in New Zealand. Then, after graduating from college a year early, she worked for KABC-TV in the number two market in the country. She gained first-hand experience working in the newsroom, studio, control room, and out in the field. At 22, she was called to the skies as an international flight attendant.
She traveled the world, gaining an unbeatable perspective and experience in leadership. She lived in Los Angeles, Houston, D.C., Newark, Queens, and Boston. She has been to 6 continents, 36 countries, and 49 states. Between trips, she helped produce a children’s music therapy program, live and taped.
Jessica spent two years working towards her private pilot’s license, flying small planes over the marshes and beautiful coastal sights of New England. She now dedicates all of her free time to writing original songs, recording music, and playing her guitar.
She is freelancing as a composer/lyricist and plans to take everything she’s learned over the years with her as she returns to the entertainment industry. She is a writer through and through and an editor with everything she does. Whether it’s video, sound, writing, or graphics, her mind doesn’t stop fixing, changing, and improving. Her debut musical, A Holiday Homecoming, ran in December 2024, with the Harbor Stage Theater Company in New Jersey. She wrote the lyrics for all the original music and assisted with Front of House. Now she is working on her next musical with co-writer Brian Strohmetz, called JUMPSEAT!, about the turbulent lives of flight attendants.
Kaikoura, NZ
On the northeast coast of New Zealand’s south island, sits a small town that is anything but ordinary. A few steps beyond main street and you can find yourself walking alongside rolling hills of friendly cows. Through the fresh green grass lies a small dirt path to the edge of a mighty cliff. This is one of the most beautiful walks you will ever casually encounter. You can hear the roaring white waves crash against the beach below, as whales jump, sea lions bark, puffins gracefully land on rocks, all whilst these snow covered monstrosities stare you down. Never have I felt so small.
